As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized entry attempts, suspicious activity, property damage, and policy violations.
• Maintain required firearm qualifications, follow all armed-post procedures, and prepare clear and accurate incident and patrol reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have at least one year of prior military experience for positions in Hawaii.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
