As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a busy retail location, helping to support a welcoming environment through visible presence, mobile patrols, and strong customer service. Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or shoppers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with management and/or public responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, exterior areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, verifying authorized access when required and reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unusual conditions.
• Carry out assigned armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site expectations, maintaining professional presence and readiness for security-related response needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
