As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities as you conduct routine patrols and respond to situations as needed. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and uphold Allied Universal’s commitment to teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality customer service by following established security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activities or potential hazards, communicating with Allied Universal management and local authorities as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities according to site protocols.
• Support the enforcement of site rules and regulations while upholding a visible security-related presence within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
