Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Manson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a government environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This role involves both armed and driving responsibilities as you support a secure environment through routine patrols and exceptional communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain detailed reports and logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.
• Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and/or members of the public, providing assistance as needed.
• Enforce site policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and client instructions.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies and/or security-related incidents as required.
• Operate communication devices to relay information and coordinate with Allied Universal team members.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain required certifications and proficiency in security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
