What You'll Do:
- Conduct screening of individuals entering the location, following established procedures to help to deter prohibited items from being brought onsite.
- Provide customer service by assisting visitors and staff with inquiries and directing them as needed.
- Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the location.
- Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following appropriate protocols.
- Monitor entry points and observe activity to help to deter unauthorized access.
- Communicate promptly with Allied Universal supervision and/or location personnel regarding incidents, concerns, or unusual activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
