As a Security Officer Armed Driver Route Patrol in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities and notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, deliveries, and visitor activity in accordance with post orders and financial institution procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in required reports, logs, and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience is required.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
