As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated aerospace and defense locations, providing a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. This role requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while upholding Allied Universal’s values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines, providing customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at the aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed response protocols when necessary.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify the credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policies.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement when security-related incidents arise.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client protocols.
• Participate in emergency response activities, following established procedures for the aerospace and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
