Job Description

As a Security Officer Area Patrol in Pine Bluff, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will bring Allied Universal's values to life by working with integrity, supporting your team, and adapting to the needs of a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including production areas, warehouse spaces, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter points, as assigned.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for people, vehicles, and/or deliveries, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting established screening and identification practices.
• Observe for unusual activity, equipment issues, spills, and/or policy concerns within the location, and report security-related matters according to post orders and client guidelines.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
