Security Officer - Airport Patrol

As a Security Officer - Airport Patrol in Wappingers Falls, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $21.66 - $22.66 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out post orders, site-specific policies, and/or access control procedures for a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior spaces, loading areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor alarms, CCTV, and/or building management notifications when assigned, and report unusual conditions through required documentation and communication channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed by Allied Universal procedures.
• Complete detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and communicate maintenance concerns such as doors, gates, lighting, and/or barriers requiring attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 years of security-related experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Guard card and/or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
