As a Security Officer - Government Airport Patrol in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents or unusual activity to the appropriate authorities or Allied Universal management.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential concerns and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and/or the public.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points and verifying identification as required by site-specific policies.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as outlined by Allied Universal and client expectations.
• Remain alert and attentive while on duty to help to deter unauthorized activity and respond to any security-related needs at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
