Security Officer - Aero Front Desk

As a Security Officer - Aero Front Desk in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk professional with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense location, you will play a key role in managing access, assisting visitors, and responding to security-related inquiries. Your presence at the entry point helps to deter incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with staff, guests, and/or contractors to address inquiries and provide information as needed.
• Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk, following instructions and protocols specific to the location.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
