As a Security Officer Active Clearance Required in Aurora, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter points, with attention to security-related concerns and potential hazards.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and support compliance with location rules and aerospace and defense site requirements.
• Observe and report conditions involving property, equipment, and/or facilities that may require follow-up, while supporting a professional environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
