As a Security Officer Access Systems Coordinator in Longwood, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic automotive location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by managing access points, monitoring alarm and badge systems, and assisting visitors, employees, and customers. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at an automotive business location by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the property by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized guests, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, vehicle inventory areas, buildings, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership while completing accurate reports and shift records.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
