As a Security Officer - Access Entry Control in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain an orderly environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain entry records, and control access to restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report unusual activity, damaged property, and/or policy violations while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and transportation partners.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
