Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and authorized personnel by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, screen visitors and deliveries, and document access activity to help support security-related operations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and preparing accurate reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and conditions that could impact daily operations.
• Assist with enforcing site rules, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and helping to deter unauthorized access through a visible presence and professional communication.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• COLA requirements including DPSS/DHS tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required.
• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
