Security Officer Access Coordinator

As a Security Officer Access Coordinator in Pasadena, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas in accordance with post orders and client guidelines.
• Maintain visitor logs, issue temporary badges or passes, and communicate professionally with staff and guests regarding sign-in procedures, deliveries, and/or access requests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting unusual activity to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for security-related issues, access control concerns, and conditions that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
