As a Security Officer Access Control in Bellefonte, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor alarm panels, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $22.66 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor and manage the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs.
• Receive and direct calls, deliveries, and inquiries; communicate relevant information to appropriate site personnel in a professional and courteous manner.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from the front desk; report irregularities, incidents, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinate with site contacts and/or emergency responders, and complete required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
