As a Security Officer Access Control in Brookwood, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing location where you will manage access control, monitor entry points, and support daily site operations with strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will help to discourage security-related incidents through a visible presence and attentive screening practices. Pay Rate: $16.89 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access procedures, visitor processing, and other security-related policies at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain access logs, and help to deter unauthorized entry in accordance with location protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Observe and report unusual activity, equipment concerns, and policy violations, and document security-related events in a clear and timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
