As a Security Officer Access Control in Butner, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location where you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidance, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, dock doors, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report unusual activity involving deliveries, shipments, and facility operations.
• Support truck and pedestrian traffic flow by observing site activity, following post instructions, and reporting hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or operational issues to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
