As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, managing access badges, and conducting routine patrols throughout the property. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the property, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, guests, and employees with inquiries or directions while maintaining a professional presence.
• Carry out security-related procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the site management, adapting to the unique needs of the commercial real estate environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports or electronic systems as required by site protocols.
• Support emergency response activities and coordinate with local authorities or site management as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
