As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with team members, drivers, and site staff, document observations, and respond to concerns with professional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, loading dock areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and control entry for employees, visitors, and drivers by verifying identification, checking in deliveries and/or pickups, and directing traffic flow as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disputes, injuries, and unauthorized access concerns, and request assistance when needed.
• Complete detailed reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations and incident details to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
