As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a food and beverage location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor for any unusual activity or potential hazards and report findings as required.
• Assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors with directions and information as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
• Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client site management.
• Complete required reports and logs related to patrol activities and incidents encountered during the shift.
• Support access control procedures by observing entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
