Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at a government location.
• Monitor entry points, screen people, vehicles, and/or deliveries as directed, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, docks, gates, and other controlled locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, gates, parking areas, and perimeter locations, observing for security-related concerns and reporting conditions according to post orders.
• Complete required logs, reports, and/or incident documentation, and follow Allied Universal policies, site procedures, and emergency response activities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
