Security Officer - Access Control Gate

As a Security Officer - Access Control Gate in Menomonee Falls, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, supporting access control and security-related operations for a high-traffic facility. You will greet and screen drivers and visitors, check credentials, manage entry logs, and conduct routine patrols to help reduce incidents. You will stay visible, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver customer service with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors and/or contractors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobby points by checking identification, issuing temporary badges, maintaining visitor and delivery logs, and directing traffic flow for trucks and passenger vehicles.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and communication channels to identify security-related concerns and report unusual activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of docks, yard areas, parking lots, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized access and identify hazards or maintenance issues for reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
