As a Security Guard - Mall Patrol Driver in Galveston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a major retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible throughout the premises. Your role involves driving between designated areas, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft and unauthorized access.
• Report and document any unusual activity or incidents according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Assist with access control and provide directions and assistance to customers as needed.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including coordinating with local authorities if required.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to staff and customers.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
