As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Hazlehurst, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This role is ideal for someone who values teamwork, communication, and integrity while delivering a caring, reliable, and innovative approach to each shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, loading and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity for employees, contractors, and/or visitors in accordance with site protocols and documented post orders.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and support ordered response actions related to security-related concerns, property issues, and workplace policy matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
