Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Lithia, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and/or staff by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access, identify hazards, and report suspicious activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and support visitor and contractor processing in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete routine reports, logs, and incident documentation, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or security-related issues to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
