As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol in Tallahassee, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors through professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting of concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare rehabilitation location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, reporting, and coordination with site leadership and/or local responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter routes, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow as assigned, assist with badge and/or sign-in processes per site policy, and report suspicious behavior and/or unauthorized persons.
• Complete detailed written reports and logs, document security-related incidents and observations, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
