Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Driver

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will complete routine mobile patrols and visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to alarms and/or concerns, and provide clear, professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate personnel and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Control access points by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials where required, and directing visitors, deliveries, and contractors according to site procedures.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to site management, and assist with investigations by preserving notes and available evidence per policy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
