What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, with awareness that working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor customer and associate activity for unusual behavior, policy concerns, and/or security-related issues, helping to deter theft, trespassing, and other disruptive activity.
- Support opening and closing procedures, assist with access control and alarm-related responses, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
