As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming environment for visitors. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail or mall environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure atmosphere at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons, to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance to visitors, tenants, and employees as needed.
• Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management, adapting to site-specific requirements.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site policies.
• Participate in emergency preparedness drills and respond to alarms or emergencies in accordance with established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
