As a Security Guard - Reatil Store in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe and report unusual activity, and provide clear communication and customer service to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity as assigned, including checking credentials, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and escalating concerns per post orders.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate relevant information during shift turnovers, and use radios and/or other systems to support site operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of Security Experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
