As a Security Guard – Patrol Driver in Woodstock, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more.
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will be responsible for managing access points, verifying credentials, and using technology to support site operations. Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills are essential as you interact with employees and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You’ll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Assist with access control procedures at the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
- Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by following site-specific policies and offering assistance as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any security-related concerns.
- Document incidents and observations accurately, maintaining detailed records as required by site policies.
- Communicate clearly with team members, site staff, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
