As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and communicate professionally with team members and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service while contributing to a caring, reliable, and integrity-driven team at Allied Universal.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and team members while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer lots, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter of a logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry, and report unusual activity, damaged property, or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
