Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge checks, use a computer and/or tablet to document observations, and deliver helpful customer service to team members and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution environment.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading dock areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points and vehicle or pedestrian traffic, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or restricted area access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, and medical situations, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate key information during shift handoff to Allied Universal and client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
