As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will greet patients, visitors, and staff with a calm, service-focused approach, communicate clearly, and document observations using site technology. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential hazards.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow while supporting a welcoming environment, reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations through established channels.
• Complete required reports such as incident logs, patrol documentation, and shift activity summaries, and communicate key information during post handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
