Security Guard - Financial Site Patrol

As a Security Guard - Financial Site Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence within financial institution locations. You will play a key role in upholding a welcoming atmosphere, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with access control. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to address security-related concerns and provide support as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
