As a Security Guard - Corporate Bank Headquarters in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter incidents through a visible presence, manage access control, and provide professional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas to help support authorized entry and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
