Job Description

As a Security Guard - Clinic Patrol Driver in Syracuse, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a dynamic healthcare location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the premises and respond promptly to situations as they arise. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disturbances within the healthcare location.
• Observe and report any unusual conditions, incidents, and/or emergencies to the appropriate personnel and Allied Universal management.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and/or other security-related functions as required by site-specific procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations, medical emergencies, and/or other urgent situations in accordance with healthcare protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs and reports of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
