Security Guard - Armed Vehicle Patrol

As a Security Guard - Armed Vehicle Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to requests with clear communication and strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to the public and staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting the appropriate personnel and/or public services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including buildings, platforms, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter points, with working conditions that may vary by location.
• Monitor entry points, report suspicious activity, and help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or property damage through presence and observation.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incident response, and patrol findings, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card and/or armed guard license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
