As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at government locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
• Monitor access points and verify identification to help to maintain authorized entry within the location.
• Prepare detailed incident and patrol reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Remain alert to unusual activities or conditions and report concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
