As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Financial in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with staff and visitors to provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal, providing customer service to clients and visitors at financial institution locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate response protocols for financial institutions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verifying credentials and reporting any suspicious activity or persons.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and law enforcement when needed, upholding the standards of Allied Universal.
• Remain alert to potential security-related threats specific to financial institution environments and respond according to established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
