Security Guard - Armed Healthcare Driver Patrol

As a Security Guard - Armed Healthcare Driver Patrol in Killeen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. This role requires carrying a firearm and driving as part of your daily responsibilities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and contribute to a welcoming environment guided by our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate within the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence throughout the healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of activities within the location.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on all security-related incidents, observations, and activities during the shift.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and/or emergency personnel as needed to support the ongoing security-related needs of the location.
• Maintain proficiency in the proper use of assigned equipment, including firearms, and adhere to all Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification Texas Only is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
