As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support store teams and guests with professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, giving you variety across the property as you respond to calls, document observations, and communicate clearly with leadership. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with store management and/or law enforcement as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales floors, entrances, stock areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems when assigned, document observations, and communicate suspicious activity and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed reports for incidents, observations, and shift activities, and support access control by verifying authorized entry to designated areas as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
