As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and patrolling assigned areas. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to maintain compliance with site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and location guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for irregularities and report security-related concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or breaches according to established procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including coordinating with local emergency services and Allied Universal management.
• Maintain a visible presence at access control points to help to deter potential security-related threats and promote a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
