What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, documenting actions as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, reporting any suspicious behavior or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist staff, visitors, and/or patients with directions, information, and security-related concerns as appropriate.
• Support access control procedures and help to enforce facility policies to maintain order within the location.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related matters and maintain open communication.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Vaccinations required for hospital assignments.
• Ability to work in hospital morgue settings is required.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
