Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Patrol Officer for a part-time, and possible full time on-site role located in Portland, OR. Responsibilities include conducting regular security patrols to ensure the safety of people, property, and premises. The Patrol Officer will monitor for unusual activity, respond to emergencies, maintain detailed reports, and engage with individuals to provide assistance as needed. The role also requires communication with clients, visitors, and law enforcement when necessary to maintain a secure environment.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Physical Security and basic Law Enforcement practices.
- Effective Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.
- Ability to manage Emergency Services situations, including quick response to incidents while maintaining calm under pressure.
- Attention to detail and ability to draft clear, concise security and incident reports.
- Relevant certifications, training, or previous experience in a security or law enforcement role are advantageous.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional safety or security training preferred.
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including standing, walking, or patrolling for prolonged periods.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
