As an Armed Patrol Officer in an educational setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and support students, staff, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or community members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, alarms, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established school district protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the campus, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, patrol activities, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
