As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Wilmington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, and help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial facility.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, company policy, and site-specific post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
