What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, exterior areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for suspicious behavior, assist with access control as directed, and document security-related events in required reports.
- Support loss prevention and store personnel with security-related concerns, provide visible presence during business hours, and follow post orders regarding handling of valuables, restricted areas, and/or after-hours activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
